This week I have been mural painting with the lovely Ausra for a piece of performance dance designed by Donna Huddleston.

We spent the best part of two days painting human sized grass; alongside this I also managed to paint my jeans, hair and shoes, as well as many a random splatter and drip on my bra. How? No idea. Today we ventured onto flowers, ferns and trees.....

Started by drawing the tongue-shaped blades of grass.

Ausra painting away.....

Donna's design inspired by a set from 'Suspiria,'

Progress! Beginnings of lilies and added detail to grass.

Flowers and ferns starting to take shape this morning.

I have really enjoyed this experience - it is not often that you get to spend your days painting away, it has been incredibly therapeutic!

The show is happening in a rather out of the way gallery near London Bridge called Drawing Room. Influenced by Mary Wigman's 'Witch Dance' and the 1977 Italian horror film 'Suspiria' by Dario Agento, it is shaping up to be a very intriguing piece, worthwhile seeing if you fancy it?.....
