This weekend I frequented another 1920s Prohibition party. Lovely evening, however Lucy and I had been on a 20 mile run in the morning so by the end of the evening I was completely whacked!

Ventured into the world of eye-shadow for the first time in donkey's years.

The rest of the weekend I baked. And baked. And baked. Even for me it was a bit ridiculous! My baking partner in crime was the lovely Natasha and a group of us got stuck into it while laughing and chatting till the wee hours, perfect end to the weekend.....

Fair to say this past week has seen a lot of baked goodness.

But it hasn't all been partying, baking and friend time! We are currently in the middle of a collaborative group project where we are creating a site specific performance based on greek myths, the idea being that we pick one from a choice of 6 stories given to us. Yep. A fool-hardy choice in a moment of excitement our group decided to incorporate elements from all the stories! Hopefully, if we pull it off, it will be really cool and am really looking forward to putting it all together.

Our idea? Transform our space into a Victorian House that the audience are shown around as though the house is for sale, while the mad family who live there represent the different characters and stories. Got it?

Here are some quick sketches of initial image ideas for our installation from my research, probably won't make much sense! And a lot of these initial responses have now evolved, but by next Friday we will have photos of the actual work!! Yikes.

Liked the idea of the Minotaur being in the basement, but unfortunately didn't work out with the space we were given.

Fair to say after all that I am ready for the weekend, but it is pretty busy too! With my sister and her bf down, a trip to the Opera and champagne afternoon tea it should be a good one!!
